In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan LRU No. 210 dated April 16, 2009 “Compulsory insurance civil liability of employer” the employer is obliged the employer is obliged, under the conditions and in the manner established by this Law, to insure its civil liability for compensation for harm caused to the life or health of an employee in connection with a work injury, occupational disease or other damage to health associated with the performance of his job duties.

The insurance amount under the compulsory insurance contract is established:

• For the employer, executing on the date of conclusion of the contract compulsory insurance activity for more than one year; in the amount of the annual salary of all employees of the employer for the previous twelve months before the month of conclusion of the compulsory insurance contract
• For the employer, carrying out on the date of conclusion of the contract - in the amount of the annual salary of all employees of the employer for the next twelve months after the month of concluding the compulsory insurance contract. In this case, the annual salary is calculated by multiplying the salary for the first month by twelve;
• For the employer, carrying out activities for a period of less than one year - in the amount of wages of all employees of the employer for the period of the employer's performance of this activity.
